The ruined church tower is framed by the arches of the window.

A youth looking cool can just be seen with the top of his head (including sunglasses) and his eyes just in frame. Is this an appropriate counterpoint? The western youth with his symbol of cool seems to be making a statement "what relevance is religion to me?". The picture reinforces that by showing a ruined church with a tree intruding in the interior as the symbol of (a bygone?) religion.Is this what would have been seen by some post-Mayan civilisation youth, standing by the ruin of one of the temples?
