Peeking gardens

This shot into the orangery gardens in the National Trust's Mount Egcumbe Park has a feel of the voyeur about it. The fountain and statues are glimpsed through a gap in the concealing foliage. Evocative of the art nouveau period. In 1683 Samuel Pepys said of the gardens "The Most Beautiful Place As Ever Was Seen."
