Don't mess with geese!

This is the first of a sequence of photos of what can happen if you express too much interest in a flock of geese.

It was by the side of the river that I first spotted the geese and took a closer look. I was making soft placatory sounds and staying low to present the least threat. David Bellamy, eat your heart out!
