Seagull on a break

With a summer blue sky as a backdrop, a seagull surveys its surroundings from atop a fishing trawler tackle stantion. The composition is clear and uncluttered with the clean lines of the tackle forming a triangle, on the apex of which sits the seagull.

The stantion, one of two, comprises haswers, chain guide and chain and is used to lift the trawler's scollop nets.
