Clover the Moon

Driving through Oxfordshire we stopped in the car park of a roadside pub because my wife was feeling travel sick. It was nigh on empty and I pulled over in the corner by some bushes where it was discreet.

When Sandra was feeling a little better, I helped her back to the car and on the way I spotted this clump of four-leaf clover. We were over the moon - all that luck was ours!

I've subsequently done some digging (hah!) and found out they are the ornamental variety, Trifolium repens 'Purpurascens Quadrifolium', where three-leaf is considered lucky!!
