Banana Plantation

We were doing a tour of one of the original Banana Plantations in St. Lucia and I spotted these hibiscus plants. This flower, with its extra long stamens, caught my eye, the only colour in a large area of green foliage and dark, volcanic earth. Quite unusual as everywhere else the eye turned was a riot of colour.
