Golden Buddha

Some spell it 'Budha' and some, 'Buddah', I wonder what gem he would have had to say about it... it would probably be something deep and profound, I guess.

This delightful golden Buddha was in the form of a 'snow'scene' - you know, give it a shake and the golden flakes float down through the water, slowly settling out.

Then it dawned on Buddha that he had been going to extremes by torturing his body with starvation and that instead he should adopt the golden mean or the middle way. So he gave up his earlier existence of extreme practices and set off on his life journey again but this time following the golden mean.
