Meta Buddha?

This backdrop portrays a Buddha inside a spherical glass jar supporting the earth on upraised arms, with the earth just outside the top.

Through squinted eyes, the overall shape of the jar and globe seem also to represent the Buddha. Is something on a meta level going on here?
