Atmospheric Lake

In black and white, this image of a lake in Southern Ireland is full of boding. The two-tone sky is almost washed out counter-balancing the extreme detail of shoreline detritus in the foreground.

Harshly breaking the waveletted surface of the placid lake, the rocks jar the eye while the island and far shoreline give measure and balance.
