What Horizon?

This shot, taken from a sandy beach in Lithuania of an azure sea with a solitary boat at anchor beside a deserted pier, plays tricks on the eyes. Where is the horizon?

Where does the sea meet the sky? As the eye hunts and scans, it bumps into the pier and your attention is slyly drawn from its search. Two or three times you can go round this loop until you finally succeed.. or give up in the frustration of it.
