Bovisand third beach, mid June and the picnicers and bathers are out in force.

The beaches at Bovisand, like many in the south west, are unspoilt by man-made structure. You take to the beach whatever you can carry down the cliff paths and over the rocky foreshore to your own idyllic spot.

And there's the full range of natural attractions, too - rock pools, boulders to climb over and under, the sea to swim in, sand traps to dig, castles to build, parents to bury and sun to soak up. And all the implements to enjoy to the fullest are available from the shop next to the cafe on the cliff top. Buckets and spades, frisbys, balls, lilos, arm bands, rubber rings, cricket sets, kites - you get the picture.
