City harbour foreshore

A view across Sutton Pool to the Barbican. Plymouth City spills over the hill and down to the Barbican before being arrested by the sea. Clues to the sort of harbour this is lie all around. On the far shore, the historic and tourist aspects and large and small fishing trawlers. On this side, the working fishquay for the fishing boats and trawlers who call this home. Perhaps they head over to the Barbican when they have unloaded?

A cormorant can be seen stretching its wings and settling the catch it has just made - grey mullet I think. Do you see it?
